The Essence of Tajika Varshaphala
Annual Horoscopy through solar return
About the Book
One of the greatest challenges an astrologer faces in the practice of this ancient discipline is the timing of an event. This book focuses on one of the most powerful, yet arguably under-appreciated technique of doing the same – Annual Horoscopy. Based on in-depth research in the classical works of Tajika Shastra (the Indian flavour of annual horoscopy), this book considers how students, teachers, and practitioners of astrology alike can quickly navigate the principles of this school of astrology. They can then go on to both predict events and time them for each year of the life of the native. Through this book, the reader will be taken on a whirlwind tour through the origins and historical transmissions of this branch of astrology. It will also describe the construction of an annual chart, delineation of the chart through progression, planetary office bearers, chakras, yogas, sahams (sensitive points) and also timing of events identified within that year.
